Australian Performing Arts Market 2012

Adelaide, South Australia, Australia

27 Feb - 2 Mar '12

Timed to coincide with the Adelaide Fringe and the Adelaide Festival in February and March 2012, the Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM) is a one-stop opportunity for the world's program-makers to experience the very best in new performing arts from the Australian region.

Background Information

YOUR HOSTS

APAM 2012 builds on the success of APAMs held biennially since 1994. APAM is funded by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts and the South Australian Government through Arts SA. It is presented with the invaluable support of the Adelaide Festival Centre and has been produced since 1998 by Arts Projects Australia.

APAM BENEFITS EVERYONE

APAM has won acclaim from the thousands of presenters, artists and arts organisations who have taken part in the nine markets held to date.

As an Australian performing artist, you could apply to take part in the Spotlight program or the Searchlight pitch sessions, promote your work via meetings and DVD screenings at an On Display exhibition booth, or register as a delegate and network with the many venue managers and producers in attendance, or perhaps even meet other artists with whom you can collaborate in the future.

As a booth holder or a delegate, buyer or seller, you can develop relationships with artists, producers, presenters, venue managers, festival directors and more from around the world.

Through a series of breakfasts and cocktail parties, forums and interaction with Spotlight artists and On Display exhibitors, buyers and sellers alike will have a unique opportunity to engage with a range of national and international participants.
