Nele Suisalu is originally from Estonia. She had studied semiotics for a year at the University of Tartu before shifting her interests back to dance. In 2005 she acquired a Bachelor degree in choreography at Tallinn University. By that time, she had participated in the improvisational performances (by Claire Filmon; by Benno Voorham and Sybrig Dokter), had also worked as a dancer in a musical and with the Estonian contemporary dance company Fine5 Dance Theatre. She continued her studies in the Master's program of conference interpretation at the University of Tartu. In 2006 she started writing articles about contemporary dance. Then, in 2007, she joined the contemporary choreography program ex.e.r.ce 07, co-directed by Mathilde Monnier and Xavier LeRoy, in Centre chorégraphique national de Montpellier and moved to France.
Currently, she is working as a performer with different dance companies (cie étant-donné; Laure Bonicel & cie Moleskine; Hélène Iratchet) in France; occasionally lecturing and giving workshops at the choreography department of Tallinn University in Estonia. She is dreaming of becoming a clown.
Florent Hamon. After an acrobatic childhood in different circus schools, he studied film making and acquired a Master's degree in cultural management at the Sorbonne University. Since then he juggled between trades of light technician and cameraman while continuing the adventure with circus Zampanos and Cirque éléctrique. Then he joined the contemporary choreography program ex.e.r.ce 07, co-directed by Mathilde Monnier and Xavier LeRoy, at CCN Montpellier and started working as a dancer (“No one's land” by Yann Lheureux; “Bad Seeds” by Laure Bonicel). In parallel, he participated in movement and scenography research for the circus company les choses de rien. Since then he has also worked as the video artist for the circus company Chant de balles.
Currently, he is working as a performer for choreographer Anne Lopez and in the circus company les Mauvais Esprits, meanwhile developing personal work with the collective Nomad'act (the concert-performance “MontÂgne” and the dance piece “Ball”). He is dreaming of becoming a rock'n'roll star.
Nicolas Gastard. In 2001 he started his studies of audio-visual media in Toulouse. Subsequently he participated in different audio-visual projects and creations by directing video clips, doing photo reportages, filming performing arts and VJing (“Amourencage” with Les Dentelles à Mamie, “Pandore” with CTRLALTSUPPR). In parallel, he worked as a light technician for different companies and structures (Cie Salam toto, Théâtre Garonne, festival L'oreille interne); co-wrote a song for the play “On est pas seul dans sa peau” (Julie Beres&les cambrioleurs). He is a co-creator and performer of the concert-performance “MontÂgne” and starting 2007 has been performing this ecological fable in different countries (France, Denmark, Belgium).
Currently, he is working as a technical manager in the multidisciplinary factory Mix'Art Myrys (Toulouse, France) and playing guitar in different punk rock projects. He is dreaming of conquering the world: il mondo è meraviglioso ...
