Background Information

his biennial event provides a unique opportunity to sample the work of a wide range of artists and companies and to network with peers (promoters, dance artists, presenters, festival directors, agents and other dance professionals) from across Canada and internationally - through a range of formal and informal encounters, all providing opportunities to explore artistic collaboration and exchange information. We have now added a fifth performance program featuring Karen Jamieson Dance, one of BC's most enduring and distinctive companies. There will be open rehearsals with Aeriosa Dance and the exciting young artist Jennifer Clarke, roundtables exploring issues around cultural diversity and the curatorial process, and more!
