The Dog Kennel Hill Project brings together the skills and experience of Ben Ash, Henrietta Hale and Rachel Lopez de la Nieta. With the goal of collaborative creation of dance their work is characterized by its subtle wit, resistance to definition and ability to surprise and intrigue.
Background Information
Operaestate Festival Veneto
With 31 cities involved, in more than two months 400 shows will be held in the villas, castles, parks, mansions, squares and museums of the Venetian Piedmont area. Artists and show productions coming from 19 different countries, will explore the universe of art, from contemporary theatre to the most innovative international dance, from operas, classic music and jazz, to auteur films. Avant-garde and traditional works, previews and original works created exclusively for the festival, will all be staged in the midst of exceptional settings.
Choreographic expressions, as always, will be the strong points of Operaestate's programme which cuts across the best of this art, setting contemporary dance alongside the most outstanding traditional dance organizations such as ballet companies.
