"Emmanuel" means "God (is) with us" in Hebrew. I chose to add to it the suffix "-le" because in this case, it is a matter of "Woman's faith". The ballet is not meant to be analytic, it clearly expresses my opinion. « Emmanuel-le » gives a point of view on the theme « Foi de Femme/Woman's truth".
« Emmanuel-le » is sometimes intimate and sometimes exuberant. Although the piece might be unsuitable for some people, it never is as offensive as ideologies, which laud the contempt for women, limiting them to a one and only role of procreation. An unbearable reality unfortunately shared by many religions and philosophies.
The ballet raises a number of questions. The public expériences differing emotional states. Not politically correct.
