Background Information
The New Europe Festival is established on the ten-year history of the Jarmila Jerabkova Award International Choreography Competition. The New Europe Festival will present contemporary dance and dance theatre performances over the course of four festive evenings. These dance projects originated in countries which we have titled NEW EUROPE, knowing it to be a little exaggerated. These are in fact those countries that have either recently joined the European Union or which are leading discussions on joining the EU.
