Urá), Scream of enthusiasm or greeting, mostly in toasts; salutation scream from sailors, mainly english; war scream from the russians. Arre! (from the arabic. Arrih, scream to stimulate the camels), Expression to prod the beasts to walk.
«Cristina de Pina was born on the 6th of June of 1906 in Macarscloxx – Laocoi and died on the 31st of December of 1999, after taking cyanide at her holiday home in the Pico Island – Azores. Daughter of Portuguese emigrants, Cristina de Pina was known during her lifetime as a painter, writer, moviemaker and “creator of dances”. She was one of the most significant laocoït artists connected with the destructive movement, together with: Sulbo Endrac, Zirdon Bergogdat and Tvarya Spolbarda. Her wide creative work propelled the dawning of the Final Generation (expression used to define a subversive movement of the 80s in Laocoi). Before committing suicide, Cristina gave a party with her closest friends where she presented the “Final Dance”, a show represented tonight by the performer and her friend Tânia Carvalho.»
