Ja Ja der Jodok

The POGOensemble (Dilan Ercenk, Denise Temme, Tessa Temme) was founded in 2001. Originally, the three choreographers/performers graduated from the study course 'Creativity' of the German Sport University Cologne. The company has won many prizes working with a special movement language without using traditional school techniques.

For »Ja Ja der Jodok«, the POGOensemble won the 2nd prize and the audience prize at the 3rd Choreography Competition Ludwigshafen and was invited to the 22nd Competition for Choreographers in Hannover. The piece was nominated for the »Cologne Dancetheatre Prize 2007«, mentioned as »most important theatrepiece 2007« in the Stadt Revue magazine.
With »HENRY« the company was nominated to the finalweekend of the »1st International Choreography Competition Ludwigshafen«.
Their piece »Kolonie« won the 3. jury prize of the »11th International Choreography Competition Burghausen 2004« for courage to own movement vocabulary.
