TWO DANCE SOLOS INTERTWINED BY A VIDEO PROJECTION
In Greek mythology, Penelope represents the waiting; the thread she knits is the image of time and space creation, the reconstruction of a memory she defines, but… what about Ulysses? By starting from the Odyssey’s legend and by putting on a same level Penelope and Ulysses’ characters, we aimed to make a layered introspection. Through Penelope we can read the legend, the woman, our personal experiences or the abstraction presented by the threads. Through Ulysses we can immerse ourselves in what oblivion means to each one of us.
