Background Information
Cette saison, Les Repérages ont lieu à Roubaix et Lille du vendredi 20 au mercredi 25 mars 2009, et du 25 au 28 mars à Charleroi. Ils reposent sur un réseau de 15 pays. Chaque structure partenaire désigne une compagnie pour son pays, sauf la France qui en présente 3, en partenariat avec le Centre National de la Danse de Paris. Les Repérages sont ainsi une bonne occasion de découvrir les créations de la danse contemporaine internationale. C’est également un excellent tremplin pour la jeune chorégraphie. Coup d’envoi en collaboration avec lille3000 et en parallèle de la programmation des Repérages, les 20 et 21 mars avec l’accueil de 4 compagnies venues des pays de l’Europe de l’Est. Cette année, 8 compagnies « repérées » seront reçues par Charleroi / Danses en Belgique les 25, 26, 27 et 28 mars. Rencontres Internationales de la jeune Chorégraphie une seconde diffusion à Charleroi / Danses, les 25, 26, 27 et 28 mars 2009.
For this season Les Repérages festival will take place in Roubaix and Lille from Friday 20th March to Wednesday 25th, and continue in Charleroi, from the 25th March to the 28th. The festival is based on an international network of 15 countries. One company is selected by each partner of the network for his own country except for France for which three companies are chosen. Thus, Les Repérages festival provides an excellent opportunity for discovering the creations of the international contemporary dance. It is also an excellent springboard for the young generation of choreographers. The Opening days, in collaboration with Lille 3000 and in parallel with Les Repérages festival programme, will be on 20th and 21st of March along with the reception of 3 companies coming from Eastern Europe. This year, 8 of the selected companies will be hosted by Charleroi / Danses in Belgium on 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th of March.
