Platform of Young Choreographers

The Platform was founded in 2000 in order to strengthen the Croatian dance scene. During the eleven years it has grown into an important large-scale manifestation becoming a meeting place of the best Croatian and international dancers and choreographers. Many artists who now make the very heart of Croatian dance scene made their first performances at the Platform and it was precisely the Platform that helped them in affirmation and enabled them to enter the international dance scene.
Background Information
TALA dance center is an artistic organization.The founders are T. Curić and L. Lipovac; the center's aims are to popularise contemporary dance for all ages through programs in dance. The goal of Tala is to link up Croatian culture with international artists.
