Re-Presenting Ireland: Mixed Bills

Dublin, Ireland

14 - 15 May '10

A showcase initiative of Culture Ireland, Dance Ireland and Dublin Dance Festival.

Now in its third year, Re-Presenting Ireland will again showcase the work of six companies whose work is representative of the strength and diversity of contemporary choreography in Ireland. The Mixed Bills serve as a platform for Irish and Ireland-based choreographers to introduce their work to a local and international audience and continue to be an important way in which DDF and Dance Ireland nurture home-grown talent. With such a variety of dance work on offer, we’re sure you’ll find something to ignite your interest in dance!

A panel discussion will take place on Saturday 15 at 4.30pm, following Mixed Bill 2. Featuring Irish choreographers and international programmers, the panel will explore perspectives on international touring. The panel will be moderated by Madeline Boughton of Culture Ireland.
