"It´s a work about manipulation.
I want to tell you how to dance, you want to tell me.
I move you, you move me.
I have an Italian music I want you to listen,
you have a Korean music you want me to listen.
Exposing our needs, our wants, we express each other and we meet a part of us more human.
We look for something fragile, where we cannot be sure."
“Suschi” is a performance structured in six games played between comedy and tragedy.
Since we started we knew we were working on a duet.
If we look in the etymological dictionary, duet is meant as:”sing for two voices together or alternated...” (Etymological Dictionary of the Italian language, Pianigiani). Duet, for us, means a constant relationship between two persons, either if the communication is with words, signs or movement.
We consider choreography as a sign works, where movement can get a pregnancy as words in a phrase. Our idea is to look for a sign that can keep his meaning and his alive power in every moment.
