The biennial German Dance Platform has presented the most outstanding artistic developments in dance, made in Germany. In this ninth edition, four days in Nuremberg, provides a forum for artistic proposals, encounters and debates, making space for ideas and questions.
Background Information
Between Spring 2008 and autumn 2009, a jury views about 200 works in the form of showings, instalations, project presentations and rehearsal processes. 10 to 12 of these productions will be selected and invited to Nuremberg. A claer expectation of the german and international visitors and guests of one of the most imported festivals of contemporary dance in Europe is to provide the opportunities to get latest informations and trends, see familiar acquaintances again and to discuss controversial issues.
