Valentina Sordo / STOP...and GO

Ravenna, Italy

2 Dec '10

The performance looks into possible relationships between dance languages and styles and comedy, the perfomer’s ability to dare and to make fun of herself, to face unforeseen ob-stacles with lightness of touch and courage.
The events on stage are in some way a metaphor for life: projects, ideas and personal thoughts can be taken apart by everyday happenings. If we don’t evolve and create a new, unexpected dance, we are forced to stop and give up.
We have to learn and start again.
Stop…and go.

STOP... and GO WON THE LOMBARDY 2009/2010 YOUNG CHOREOGRAPHEDANCER AWARD
