Vienna Dance Night 'Good Night & Good Luck'

'Good Night & Good Luck' is the title of the first staging of this event, scheduled for Saturday 10 October 2009, curated and organised in cooperation with the co-production house brut Wien. From 6 p.m. and all through the
night, about 30 performances will take place in the area of the Museumsquartier and in its various venues such as the Tanzquartier Studios, Hall G, the Dschungel Wien, the Leopold Museum and others. It is also a great opportunity for you to get to know the Museumsquartier cultural complex, which is famous as one of the largest of its kind in the world. The 'Wiener Tanznacht' is conceived as an event creating an annual meeting place
for dance and performance in Austria. In 2010 it will be hosted by the co-production house brut Wien.

The artists participating, even though they live and work in the international artistic community in Vienna, represent a wide spectrum of the Austrian choreographic landscape. Performances and work-in-progress,
installations and site-specific formats come together in an ideal setting for YOU to discover the broad scale of choreographic creation in Austria. Internationally renowned as well as upcoming choreographers will show recent works. We'll present some important works of the last 6 years as well as new creations. The artistic selection includes Ewa Bankowska, Milli Bitterli, Andrea Bold, Magdalena Chowanietz, Willi Dorner, Toxic Dreams, God's Entertainment, Chris Haring, Anne Juren, Barbara Kraus, Andrea Maurer, Thomas Brandstätter, Frans Poelstra, Martina Ruhsam, Oleg Soulimenko, Superamas, Akemi Takeya, Doris Uhlich, and Paul Wenninger - among others.
