Martin HansenMonumental

Are classics made to be re-written? In this daring solo, Martin Hansen mixes human labour, complex stage instructions with the most iconic work in dance history, Pavlova’s ‘Dying Swan’. A playful enterprise of reconstruction and destruction, 'Monumental’ questions the fine line between the canonical and the common.
